The Fair 2014 {Part 2}

Saturday morning pajama swinging!

Ellington and Emerson played HARD at the fair.  Look how dirty Ellington was one morning...and this picture doesn't even truly do it justice!

Emerson's dirty face :)

Haha!  Finley put this in front of her face to smile for the camera.

Finley loved sitting on the porch and entertaining everyone around her!

All of the rest of the pictures on this post are from Sunday.  We must have had a BIG day because I had tons of pictures from Sunday!

Breakfast time for Finley

Princess Ellington

Finley loves hanging out with Pop!

Only Pop (or Pappaw!) could fall asleep like this!  The fair is tiring. :)

Our 2014 family fair pic :)

Pappaw and his harmonica

We checked out the petting zoo Sunday afternoon.  The kids loved it but it was SUPER crowded!

After the petting zoo we walked through the exhibit hall.

It's crazy that this was Finley's 2nd fair...she was about 3 weeks old last year!  She loved every second this year!

Look at that sweet face!

One of Ellington's favorite things is doing the big slide with Daddy!

So many fun memories!!!

The Fair 2014 {Part 1}

Well, I am still playing catch up but I have finally made it to the fair (which happened at the end of July)! It will take a few posts to get through the whole thing, but here is the first! These posts will mostly just be picture posts. I honestly don't remember a lot of details! Ha. I have no clue why?!

Ellington was soooooo excited about going to the fair!  She was sad that now we live further away so it took us longer to get there. :)

Finley found a spot on the swing with Grams :)

Ellington and Emerson got right to playing!  They love each other so much and play so well together.

I caught Pappaw reading a princess book to Ellington :)

Robert grilled for us the first night.  Everyone always LOVES it when he grills!

We hit the midway for rides the first night.  Ellington was OVER THE MOON excited!

I was so excited about Finley's first merry-go-round ride but she didn't like it!  As soon as it started she insisted that Daddy hold her.

Look at her face!!!  She was LOOOOVING it!

Fun with Aunt Reagan :)

After the midway we checked out the rodeo for a little bit.  The kiddos loved seeing the horses and cows.

More to come!

Happy 4th of July!

This first picture is from the weekend before the 4th of July, but I wanted to include it! Aunt Reagan stayed with us for Finley's birthday party so she was here to go to church with us on Sunday morning.

All ready for the day in red, white, and blue!

On Thursday night (the night before the 4th), Robert's whole family got together at Daniel and Laura's house.  The weather was GORGEOUS and we had a great time!

Somehow the tree ended up getting rolled! :)

On the morning of the 4th, we spent a little bit of time being productive and Daddy & Ellington put flags out.  Ellington loved their little activity!

While Daddy and Ellington put out flags, this girl practiced crawling.  She started crawling about 2 weeks before her 1st birthday.

Friday afternoon we headed to Uncle Brad and Aunt Julie's to eat and play!

This was Finley's first time ever in the grass and she did NOT like it!

4th of July artwork!

Time to swim...Ellington's favorite thing!

Big Bob & MiMi

This was one of the sweetest moments for me.  Finley doesn't normally just lay and let you rock her (I must add...now at 14 months she does, but at this time she did not!), but after swimming she leaned against me and we just swang and swang.  It was the best moment!

Next up was the slip and slide!!!  Ellington had never done one before so I wasn't sure if she would like it but she loooooved it!!!!

While the big kids played outside this little girl had a blast playing inside!

After Brad and Julie's, everyone came to our house for dessert and to watch fireworks.  We live super close to the park where they shoot the city fireworks, so we were able to watch them from our front yard!

Ready for the show!

What a great, fun-filled 4th!
