Today was our last day for the school year! Hooray! I am working this summer, but we get a three week break before we start back. This year FLEW BY. We were SO BLESSED that I was able to be with Ellington. The first semester she came with me three mornings a week and stayed home with Daddy the other two. When Robert's worked schedule changed in January she had to start coming every morning with me. But honestly, between sickness, holidays, and snow days I bet she only came five days in a row a handful of times! We got another HUGE blessing for next school year as well. I was having a ton of anxiety about Ellington being with someone other than Robert and I five mornings a week (because I obviously can't just take people's jobs to be with Ellington!). While I COMPLETELY trust her teachers she will have next year, I think it's very important for us to be the main people who "train her in the way she should go". So...I had been praying hard about the situation. One day I decided to talk to the director about it and she said, "Well, would you just want to work three mornings a week?". I about burst into tears. We only have 2 positions for anything less than 5 days a week and in the almost 8 years I have worked for FUMC one of those jobs have only been vacant once. I actually never even imagined that would be a possibility. So, I'll be teaching 4 year olds next year (which I am REALLY nervous about! Ha!) on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays. We feel so blessed by God!

I can't believe how much she has changed in just a school year! We are looking forward to a few weeks off. I LOVE being at home with Ellington so I will surely cherish every minute.
I have lots of updating to do, so check back soon!
It is amazing to see how she has changed since August. She is no longer a baby, she's a little girl. And a mighty sweet one at that!
