Memorial Day Weekend

Our Memorial Day Weekend didn't start off so great and I was soooo bummed about about the fact that everyone I knew was either going somewhere fun or at least about to have three days to spend with family. We initially thought Robert would have to work Friday 2-midnight, Saturday 2-midnight, Sunday 2-midnight, and possibly some on Monday. Fun holiday weekend right?! He did have to work Friday and then went in Saturday at noon and came home about 6:30 and was free until today (Tuesday) at 2:00 pm. HOORAY!!! So we had a great weekend after all. :)

Robert and Ellington were patriotic for church. I didn't have anything patriotic to wear! Ellington wouldn't really cooperate for the pictures, so this is the best I could get!



On Sunday afternoon after Ellington's nap we went to the river walk in Columbus. We had never been there, but always talked about going. I thought the weekend was a great reason to go to something new! We had a GREAT time and I'm so glad we decided to go!

We loved watching people water skiing and tubing. It was so fun!



On Monday we went to a Sunday School cook out and had a great time hanging out with everyone! Ellington had a blast just watching all of the action.
