Ellington turned 5 on October 2nd. FIVE! It's really crazy. How has it been five years?! She is the sweetest, smartest, most kind five year old that I know. We are so thankful that she is ours and that she is such a special part of our family!
Her birthday fell on a Thursday which is a school day. Ellington was so excited to wear her birthday button and take a special treat for everyone to have for dessert after lunch!
Robert and I planned to take Ellington to Chuck E Cheese on her birthday! She knew we were going somewhere for her birthday but she didn't know where. She SQUEALED with delight when she found out where we were going. I think she had maybe seen commercials on tv or something?! Finley's teacher, Mrs. Martha, kept her so that we could take Ellington and give her our FULL attention. At first I felt bad that Finley wasn't included in Ellington's birthday fun, but it really was for the best!! Finley had a great time with Mrs. Martha and we enjoyed our time without the added stress of keeping a baby happy!
We basically had the place to ourselves which was SO nice! We had the best time!!! E loved every second!
Ellington had her eye on this crown since the second we walked in! She used her tickets to get it...and a little of Mommy and Daddy's money. ;)
When we got home Ellington got to open one little gift.
Then it was cupcake time!!! FIVE candles ya'll!
This is one of my favorite pictures ever. Priceless! :)
What a special day we had celebrating our big 5 year old!
Looks like a fun day!
