15 Months

Sweet Ellington, you turned 15 months last week.  You are growing so big and are changing every day!  Let's see what you are up to at 15 months old...
  • You weight about 24 pounds
  • You wear size 18-24 months clothes and a size 4 diaper
  • You are a very picky eater.  Some of your favorite foods are BREAD, bananas, and more bread.  Seriously picky. :(
  • You don't eat meat at all.  I guess you have decided to be a vegetarian.
  • You take one nap a day.  It usually last 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
  • You only want Mommy and Daddy to hold you.  You aren't really interested in anyone else holding you at all!!!
  • You have become so lovey lately and give lots of kisses!
  • You stomp your foot when we get to "Thumpety thump thump" in Frosty the Snowman.  We have no idea where you got this from, but it's super cute!
  • You LOVED Santa during Christmas (well, you really still love him!).  You called him "Nanta" and would say that he said, "Ha Ho".
  • You know several animal sounds: lion, bird, cat, horse, cow, sheep
  • You know where several body parts are: head, hair, hands, teeth, feet, toes, noes
  • You can stand for a few seconds by yourself!  You are SO PROUD when you do this!
  • You are reeeeeally into walking around the house with a push toy or holding our fingers.  You are constantly saying, "walk walk walk".  Hopefully walking by yourself will be right around the corner!
  • You LOVE to accessorize!   Necklaces, bracelets, sun glasses, bows, shoes, etc. are all right up your alley!
  • You survived your first trip to the emergency room.
  • You are now TERRIFIED of doctors.  You saw so many doctors in such a short time period that now you totally know what is up when you see a doctor or exam room.
  • You don't like your baths anymore and you get sooo upset when we have to change your diaper or clothes now.
  • You sign for "more" and "milk".
  • You can say all of your family members names except Grams and you have a sign that you kind of made up for her!
  • You go to physical therapy once a week.
  • You start frantically saying "byebyebyebye" when you are somewhere you don't want to be or you are having to do something you don't want to do.
  • You are saying more words now than I can even keep up with!
  • You love to open cabinets, but you don't ever take anything out of them.  (So nice!)
  • You are currently OBSESSED with reading books.   You constantly bring us books and say, "book book" which I think means, "Will you please read to me?".  :)

Ellington we LOVE being your parents and watching you grow and change every day!
