Christmas in Brownsville

We headed to Brownsville, TN to Big Bob and MiMi's house on Friday evening the weekend before Christmas.  The girls did great on the long drive!  Ellington said, "I really wish Big Bob and MiMi lived in our land".  Haha!  Meaning that she wished they lived a lot closer.  We agree with Ellington!  This was also Finley's first trip to Big Bob and MiMi's house!

Uncle Brad, Aunt Julie, Connor, and Brody came on Saturday.  To say Ellington was excited about them getting there would be an understatement! :)

Uncle Jake was so sweet to help the kiddos with legos.  I think eventually they all abandoned him and he had to finish up by himself!

Ellington saw that Uncle Brad was starting a puzzle and she thought that she could help. 

We also made Christmas cookies on Saturday!  This sweet girl made sure everyone did exactly what they were suppose to do!

On Sunday morning we all went to Big Bob and MiMi's church.  Ellington went to children's church for the first time and Finley did pretty well in big church with us.  We had to take her out at the very end, but she made it pretty far!

Ellington had been wanting to do a gingerbread house and I felt terrible that it was something that we hadn't gotten around to yet.  MiMi came to our rescue though!  She had a gingerbread house waiting on us!  Ellington was sooooo excited!

The live nativity was, hands down, one of my favorite parts of the weekend.  I LOVE that my girls have cousins to make such special memories with.  I also love that chubby baby Jesus! :)

Sunday evening was present time.  This was Finley's very first Christmas gift ever! 

We had a WONDERFUL weekend celebrating Christmas in Brownsville!
