We finally saw the sun on the last full day of our trip! The three of us headed back to the beach with Pop. We couldn't rent umbrellas from the resort because the wind was still too strong and they wouldn't let us. Luckily we bought one at Target on our way into town so we at least had a little shade for Ellington. Some people go to the beach for the sun...we seek out shade and stay there the whole time. :)
She LOVES the beach!
Bless Robert's heart. It was SO windy that he had to hold our umbrella in place all morning. He built castles with one hand and held the umbrella with the other. :) Literally, if you didn't hold it it would blow away. People were losing their umbrellas left and right!
That night the three of us went to dinner together and then had a little fun in Baytowne.
We took an icecream break! :)
We enjoyed listening to music while E danced the night away!
On our way back to the room we decided we didn't want our last night to end yet so we let Ellington get in the pool with her clothes on. :)
All good things must come to an end :(
On the way home we made a stop at a bakery we have always talked about stopping at. It will be a new tradition for sure...only next time we will stop on our way down and have yummy treats to enjoy while we are there! :)
