Our second day in Destin was tropical storm landfall day. Otherwise known as lots of rain. We knew we might have an hour or so early in the morning to go to the pool very quickly. I think we were there by about 8 in the morning. We knew there was no chance the rest of the day. It was WINDY, chilly, and rained on us a little but we tried to make the best of it! I think we were only able to stay about an hour before it started getting worse. We had fun while it lasted!
Wind blown!
From about 9 am through the rest of the day we were inside with a 1 year old and a 2 year old. Fun times. :) Bryant and LeAnna were super prepared with crayons and coloring books!
What a trooper. Swimming without water!
Robert road Ellington and Emerson around on the cart for a bit.
At some point Bryant and Robert ventured out to the grocery store. I convinced them (although it wasn't too hard) to get some stuff for us to make cookies. Robert whipped them up for us. :) Stormy day and cookies just go together for some reason.
At some point I think we started losing our minds. :)
The best part of Sunday??!! Robert and I got to go on a date. :) It was a very rainy date, but wonderful nonetheless. I think it was even more special because we were cooped up all day!
